What is oneCommunity?
oneCommunity is a new membership program supported by share-it! that enables participating authors to benefit from an interesting new pricing model. oneCommunity offers a number of attractive revenue-boosting options that were previously unavailable through share-it!. These include free access to programs such as:
- oneNetworkDirect - the affiliate network with several tens of thousands of partners worldwide
- Windows Marketplace - the Microsoft portfolio of downloadable software products
- Reseller Management - the solution for building a completely new sales channel

What is share-it!'s new price model?
share-it!'s service charge is 4.9% + USD 1 or 4.9% + EUR 1. Whether the amount is calculated in USD or EUR depends on the billing currency you specified in share-it!'s Control Panel.
share-it! does not charge registration or monthly service fees.

I am already registered with share-it!. How can I switch to the new pricing model?
Starting March 20, 2007, you will have the option to switch to the new pricing model without the need to set up a new account with share-it!. You will keep your existing account, but the product settings will be adjusted to the new pricing model. For further information, please visit the share-it! Control Panel.

What are the conditions of participation in oneCommunity?
You can use share-it! as your e-commerce provider and participate in oneCommunity if you provide us with a downloadable file, and a key generator or key list (which can be managed in the share-it! Control Panel).
The option of using the service only to process payments while delivering products yourself is no longer offered. If you would like to deliver your digital or physical products yourself, please visit our partner site at www.swreg.org.

What are the conditions of use for the new share-it! price model?
If you do not yet use these features, we can activate the options "Backup CD", "Extended Download", and "Registration Protection Service" for your account. In general, customers are interested in additional product options. These features create new sales opportunities and increase customer satisfaction. Of course, customers are free to choose during the order process whether they wish to use these backup options.
Backup CD (opt-in) and "Extended Download" (opt-out) are offered if you have provided us with a downloadable file.
If we send out your license keys, the Registration Protection Service (opt-out) is automatically added. If you do not offer downloadable files, we charge an additional fee of 2%.
If you have provided a downloadable file and a license key, the settings applicable to the downloadable file take precedence. This also means that we will not offer all three options in the same shopping cart. In this case, no additional fee is charged.

Are there any other price changes?
All other fees remain unchanged. In addition, we will activate Reseller Management at no additional cost and provide you with access to Windows Marketplace and oneNetworkDirect.

Reseller Management
Build a new sales channel for your products. Motivate resellers to sell your products by defining customized discounts (also on product level), credit lines and building dedicated marketing campaigns. Manage all your resellers and their personal and sales data within one system. |

Will the existing accounts under the old price model be terminated?
No, the existing accounts will not be terminated and there is no time limit for this offer. There will be no changes of contract for the already existing accounts.
