How to install shapes: the easiest is to use the Photoshop or Photoshop Elements file > open command, this loads the shapes CSH designs into the Photoshop custom shapes palette. Once there, you can simply drag the shapes to the document and use in 1000s of ways such as creating brushes, patterns, backgrounds, overlays and much more. Another approach is to add the shapes files to the presets 'custom shapes' folder.
