Go Fetch is a utility application that works in conjunction with Headlight Software's GetRight (www.getright.com) Go Fetch generates sequential file lists and passes the complete list to GetRight. This is ideal for downloading updated newsletters, product information sheets, images, in fact anything that can be downloaded! Given the URL for the highest numbered item in the required list - GoFetch! will extract the key components from the URL. These are: Base URL (ie www.website.com/folder) Prefix (ie ProductInfo) Initial Sequence Number (ie 0001) Final Sequence Number (ie 0645) Suffix (ie _Update) File Extension (ie .pdf) Go Fetch will then pass the list to GetRight and optionally start GetRight's automatic downloading Options: Go Fetch allows the user to modify all of the parameters before sending to GetRight - for example GoFetch assumes that sequences start at 1, however, it could be that a list starts at 26! Leading zeros in the sequence numbers usually cause most applications a big headache, however GoFetch was designed with this in mind - even if the last number is only 3 digits long, if you need GoFetch to handle 8-digits, it'll gladly add those extra 000's!
