Puzzle Workshop is a program for the creating of two types of crossword - (1) UK-style symmetrical puzzles from a dictionary of words and phrases (supplied), and (2) freeform crosswords from an imported wordlist, e.g. themed crosswords. It supports grid sizes from 7x7 up to 30x30 squares and comes with a library of around 200 stock grids. It can generate many alternative fills from a single mouse-click, with fills scored and ranked. Clues can be added manually or imported with a word list. Filled grids can be saved for later use, and output can be printed, saved to a file (RTF,HTM) or exported via the clipboard.
