Wave Corrector is a true WYSIWYG waveform corrector which automatically removes clicks, ticks and plops from recordings of vinyl records and also divides LP files into separate CD track files. Wave Corrector combines a sensitve click discriminator with a correction algorithm which replicates the waveform underlying each click. Correction artefacts are thereby maintained at a very low level. The program provides a graphical display which overlays the corrected and uncorrected waveforms for easy comparison. Individual click corrections can be auditioned and edited. Thus, even badly damaged original recordings can be restored to near pristine condition.
