D_back is data backup software designed to simplify automatic reserving of your important files and documents on any computer running MS Windows 9x/NT/2000/ME/XP operating systems.
Your data will be saved in a single compressed backup file on any storage media: hard disks, network drives, CD-RW. The program supports FTP backup, and can send archives via e-Mail or upload it to remote FTP. D_back supports standard Zip compression, and allows to use any external files compression programs for creating backups.

The best backup strategy (full, incremental, stack, advanced stack) can be chosen for any kind of data, depending on dynamic characteristics and size of the processable data. The management of the files lists is simple and flexible. Included and excluded files are specified separately, wildcards (* ?) are allowed in all paths and file names.

There is no problem to automate data backup. With a few mouse clicks program let you easily prepare a backup profile, for further regular executing at any time. The software distribution kit contains command-line utility and backup scheduler which allow you to automate data processing on both personal computers and server systems.

The results of backup jobs can be completely checked up at any time. The history of all startings, errors and warning messages are registered in a log file. The program allows to notify user by e-mail about starting/ending, errors or warnings of each backup job.
