Just like Scrabble, you have to find as many words as you can. Unlike Scrabble, you are not given various letters to work with. In Diction 2004 you are given actual words.
You start the game with 4 lives. Submit an invalid word, you lose a life. If you use up all of your lives, the game ends. Diction 2004 is equipped with a timer set to 4 minutes. Which means that is the amount of time your given to find as many words as you can. Each valid word you find will be worth a certain amount of points.
There are many levels of play(Apprentice,Master & GrandMaster). There's all also Bonus Rounds. Here you can make between 3000 to 5000 points. However, you only get 1 minute to do this.
Diction 2004 is great for anyone 7 years old and up(Adults). This game is not only fun to play but, it is an investment in education. It's because Diction 2004 displays over 70,000 words to the player. They'll be exposed to words they've never seen before. Can Scrabble boast that?
